Harry Leroy Alden

August 17, 1921 - August 20, 2006

Harry Leroy Alden, age 85 died on Sunday August 20, at his home in Mansfield surrounded by the comfort of his loving family. He was the son of the late Harry and Mary E. (Pierce) Alden.

Harry was born on August 17, 1921 in Arlington. He has been a Mansfield resident for the past 57 years. He was a graduate of Foxboro High School class of 1940. Harry served his country proudly in the United States Navy during WWII. He married his wife Jeanne Evelyn (Cote) in Norton on June 10, 1963.

Harry was an auditor for the Foxboro, Co. for over 43 years. An avid golfer, Harry regularly played at the Foxboro and Norton Country Clubs. He loved to visit Cape Cod with his wife and enjoyed beaches and quahog fishing. He also was an avid gardener.

Beloved husband of Jeanne Evelyn (Cote) Alden. Brother of the late Phyllis B. Cady and the late Hartley Alden who was killed in Saipan during WWII. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a memorial service at 11:AM on Monday August 28, at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home 30 South Street Foxboro.
