Loving and Devoted Grandmother

Nancy Allan

Nancy Allan, age 93, died, January 2, 2007 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Eric Swanson in 1970 and her only child Louise “Shirley” Guenard in 1994 who lived on Cape Cod. Nancy had enjoyed and loved six grandchildren, Richard in CT, Glenn in CA. Laurie and Carrie of Cape Cod, Robert in PA and Charlie in Hudson MA. and 11 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Allan was born in Hartford CT. on January 19, 1912 as Nancy Tucker, later was raised by the Treen family of Mansfield where she graduated High School in 1929 as did her daughter in 1951 under the maiden name of Lapham. A 53 year homeowner in Attleboro on Park Street and spent her last five years a few blocks away in assisted living. A retired Assembler of Swanks, Nancy was a skilled sewer and enjoyed her garden and many local friendships.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend funeral service starting from the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street Foxboro at 8:15 AM on Saturday, January 6.
