Mary Lentini
March 05, 1927 - November 20, 2007
Loving Sister Plainville-Mary (Spence) Lentini, age 80, died on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at the Madonna Manor Nursing Home in North Attleboro, where she had resided since February of this year. Mary was the wife of the late Peter Lentini who predeceased her in 1998.
Mary was born in Barre, VT on March 5, 1927 and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Harriet (Pruneau) Spence. Mary was a graduate of Bryant and Stratton Secretarial School in Boston and did secretarial work for several years.
Mary married her husband, Peter, in Attleboro in June of 1964. She was artistic and enjoyed doing oil paintings and pencil sketches. She also enjoyed music, singing, and dancing, especially with her late husband and together their dancing was a joy to watch. Homemaking and watching old musicals were a great source of pleasure for her.
Mary is survived by one sister; Shirley Spence of Plainville, a step-son Richard Lentini of New Hampshire and several cousins including Beulah Stankovich of Leeds, NY.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 2-4pm on Thursday, November 29, at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St. Foxboro. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM at St. Martha’s Catholic Church, 227 South Street, Plainville, MA. Her burial will take place in VT at a later date.
