James R. Metrano
August 12, 1944 - December 30, 2007
Principal Instructor for Invensys of Foxboro James R. Metrano, age 63, died unexpectedly at Caritas Norwood Hospital on Sunday, December 30. James was the son of the late Raymond and Blanche (Urban) Metrano.
James was born on August 12, 1944. He was a graduate of Foxboro High School, Class of 1962 and attended Northeastern University in Boston. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. James was a Principal Instructor at Invensys in Foxboro for thirty three years. An avid reader, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Long time loving companion of Donna Squire. Father of Bridget Metrano of Easton, Brendan Metrano of NY and Bernadette Metrano of Jamaica Plain, Cheri Sisson, Christina Squire and Andrew Squire, all of Foxboro. Brother of Anthony of Carver, Joseph of Foxboro, Benjamin Nason, and the late Raymond Metrano and Richard Nason.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, January 3 from 4 to 8 pm at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 4 at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Knollwood Memorial Park with US Navy Honors.
