Mary Louise NeversOctober 01, 1944 - April 20, 2007
Mary Louise Nevers, 62, formerly of Medfield, died in Needham on Friday, April 20, 2007. Mary Louise was the daughter of the late Edward and Ida Meade, formerly of Plainville. She was the wife of the late and beloved John “Sonny Boy” Nevers. Born on October 1st, 1944 in Attleboro, she attended area schools and graduated from King Philip Regional High School. Mary Louise was a voracious reader! She loved Ed McBain mysteries and “True Crime” books and was a long-time subscriber to The Nation and New Yorker magazines as well. She had a strong sense of social justice and found our current president’s performance appalling. She was a tenacious Scrabble and Boggle player and a proud Paw Sox & Red Sox fan. Mary Louise loved cats, pizza, and long, lazy Sunday rides to nowhere in particular. She had a quirky, self-deprecating sense of humor that served her well through life’s peaks and valleys. She was the loving mother of Linda Burke, Donald Larson and Matthew Larson and the adoring grandmother of Jonathan and Matthew Underhill.
