James D. Sullivan

August 25, 1920 - November 21, 2005

Retired Service Manager from General Motors.

James D. “Sully” Sullivan, age 85, died on Monday November 21, at the Epoch of Sharon after a long illness. He was son of the late Patrick and Nora (Devine) Sullivan.

James was born in Boston on August 25, 1920 and was a Graduate of Cathedral High School in Boston. He proudly served his country in the Army Airforce during WWII. James and his wife Margaret (Dunn) were married on Feb. 3, 1950 at St. Mary’s church in Foxboro.

James was a longtime employee of General Motors and retired from Norwood Cadillac in 1992. He was a member of the Foxboro VFW post 2626 and the K of C 6063 Council of Foxboro.

James was the devoted husband of Margaret “Peg” (Dunn) Sullivan. Loving father of Gregory Sullivan and his wife Lorna, Robert Sullivan and Kathleen Sullivan all of Foxboro, Eileen Sullivan of Woburn and the late Richard “Ricky” Sullivan. Devoted grandfather of Candler Gordon, Eric, Kyle, and Kelly Sullivan and Brenna Rennie.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Friday from 4-8 at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home 30 South St. Foxboro. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday November 26, at 9 am at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter Street, Foxboro. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Foxboro.
