Miss Patricia Ann McGuinness

July 18, 1930 - January 17, 2007

Child Advocate

Patricia Ann McGuinness, age 76, of Foxboro, daughter of the late Patrick and Teresa (Bates) McGuinness, sister of the late Joseph, survived by brother Frank & Patrick, and sister of Marie Meisner & brother-in-law Ron Meisner, aunt to 10 nieces and nephews, great Aunt to 15 great nieces and nephews and great-great Aunt to 3 children, died January 19, 2007.

Patricia received her Bachelor degree from Boston College and her Masters in social work from Smith College. She had a long career as a clinical social worker with adoption as her specialty. Patricia was the first Director of Project Impact, an agency to place difficult-to-adopt children. She maintained a private practice in the Foxboro area for some years and was consultant to several area agencies. Patricia will be loved and missed not only by her family but will also be remembered as being “important in the life of a child”.

Funeral Information

Funeral Monday, January 22, at 8 AM from the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home 30 South St. Foxboro followed by a funeral Mass at 9 AM at St. Mary’s Church in Foxboro.
