Former Owner of Flowers by Nardone of Mansfield Gaetano “Guy” J. Nardone, Jr., age 76, of Mansfield died Friday, January 26 at his home surrounded by the comfort of his loving family. He was the son of the late Gaetano and Pasquelina (Carpenito) Nardone.
Born on May, 7, 1930, he was a native of Roslindale. He was the owner/operator of G. Nardone Builders of Sharon and Mansfield and Flowers by Nardone of Mansfield. Guy married his wife Serena (McCarthy) on July 19, 1952 in Raymond, NH.
Guy was a member of the Mansfield Elks Club and the Mansfield Lion’s Club. He enjoyed his horses and was a devoted family man. He also enjoyed the time he spent at the Flower Shop.
Beloved husband of the late Serena (McCarthy) Nardone. Loving Father of Elizabeth Nardone Carroll and her husband Jonathan, Rosamond Anne Nardone, Margaret L. Nardone-Tutt, Laurie Grace Nardone and Joanne Hartnett all of Mansfield. Devoted Grandfather of Jonathan M. and his wife Jackie, Christopher M. and Jessica R. Carroll and Debbie A. Harnett. Brother in law of Rosamond Nardone of FL. Brother of Raymond Hartnett of Mansfield and the late Pat Nardone. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews: Paula, Tricia, Stephen and Janice and loving Godchildren.
