Everett Raymond Tripp Jr.

Life Long Foxboro Resident Everett Raymond Tripp, Jr, age 80, a life long Foxboro resident, died Thursday, November 23 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boston surrounded by the comfort of his loving family. He was the son of the late Everett Tripp, Sr. and Mildred (Willson) Tripp.
Everett was born on May 19, 1926 in Framingham, MA. He was a graduate of Foxboro High School, Class of 1944. He was a welder at the Foxboro Company for twenty six years, retiring in 1985. Everett was a member of the Twenty Five Year Club at the Foxboro Company, the Norfolk County 4H Fair Association and the Foxboro Cribbage League. He was an avid fisherman, gardener and loved to read western novels.
Everett is survived by his loving wife, Gretchen (O’Donnell) Tripp. He was the beloved father of Wendy Haney, Everett Tripp III and Samuel Tripp, all of Foxboro, Heidi Mackey of Seekonk and Hugh Tripp of Mansfield. Loving grandfather of twelve and great grandfather of three. He was the brother of Robert Tripp of Danville, VT.
Friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, November 29 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 30 at 11 am at the Union Church of Foxboro, South Street, Foxboro.
