Joseph M. Kearney

Joseph M. Kearney, age 78, of Foxboro died at Caritas Norwood Hospital on Thursday, March 1. He was the son of the late Michael J. and Letitia (Scannell) Kearney.

Joseph was born on June 3, 1928 in Brighton. He was a graduate of Northeastern University and proudly served his country in the US Navy in Korea. He married his wife Dorothy M. (McConnell) at St. John’s Church in Canton in 1954. He was a senior engineer at Honeywell for twenty nine years and Digital Equipment Corporation for six years.

Beloved husband of Dorothy M. (McConnell) Kearney. Loving father of Joseph Kearney, Jr. of Norton, Daniel Kearney of Douglas and the late Michael Kearney. Devoted grandfather of Stephanie, Andrew, Allison and Ryan.
