Nancy (DiMarzio) Richards

Indiana-Nancy (DiMarzio) Richards, age 76, of Linton, Indiana, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2009 at Millers Merry Manor in Sullivan, Indiana. She was born in Foxborough on August 29, 1933, the daughter of Cesare and Irene (Jackson) DiMarzio.

Nancy was a graduate of Foxborough High School, Class of 1952 and was a certified Nurse’s Aide in nursing homes for over forty two years. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Linton.

Survivors include her husband Edward Richards of Linton, to whom she was married on September 1, 1952, two sons, Robert Richards and his wife Esther of Omaha, Nebraska and William Richards and his wife Peggy of Watertown, Wisconsin, two daughters, Jane and her husband Joe Frassrand of Lake Tapp, Washington and Debora and her husband Richard Morris of Linton, five brothers, John DiMarzio of Monticello, NY, Alessandro Veno DiMarzio of Brookins, Oregon and Norgio DiMarzio of Placerville, CA, four sisters, Amelia Brooks and Irene Bouchard of Foxborough, Yolanda McAuliffe of Fairhaven and Carmarena DiMarzio of Providence and nine grandchildren, Laura, Robin, Kilei, Christopher, Matthew, Jason, Darrell, Dereck and Alisha.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Ryan, two brothers, Gulielmo and Fermino and a sister Virgilia DiMarzio.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Friday, October 9, from 4-8 PM at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street in Foxborough. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, October 13 at 10 am at St. Mary's Church, Carpenter Street, Foxboro. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Foxboro.
