Cecelia E. Sullivan
March 27, 1916 - June 27, 2007
Retired Mass State Port Authority Emplyee Cecelia Elizabeth Sullivan, Age 91, died on Wednesday, Junes 27, 2007 in Milton Hospital from injuries received from an automobile accident. She was the wife of the late Walter Sullivan.
Cecelia was born in Boston on March 27, 1916 and was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (McCormack) Sheridan. She was a graduate of Dorchester High School Class of 1931 and a former long time resident of Hyde Park. She has been a Foxboro resident for the past 37 years.
Cecelia worked for many years for the Mass. State Port Authority in Boston as a clerk until her retirement in 1981. She then worked for several years as a clerk in the print shop of the McCormack Building in Boston. She was an avid bridge player and was a member of the Puritan Bridge Club in Braintree. She was also an avid world traveler.
Beloved mother of Ann M. Alibrandi and her husband Joseph of Foxboro and the late Paul Sullivan. Devoted grandmother of Annmarie Ryan and her husband Thomas of Foxboro and Paula Feeney and her husband William also of Foxboro. Great grandmother of Liam, Joseph and Lillian Feeney of Foxboro. Sister of the late Mary Reed, Lillian Pitts, Alice Wood, Paul Sheridan and Walter Sherdan.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Monday, July 2, from 4-8 PM at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home 30 South St., Foxboro. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, at 9 AM at the St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter St., Foxboro. Interment to follow at St Mary’s Cemetery in Foxboro.
