Foxborough-Lorraine Brown, age 86, died at her home in Foxborough on Thursday, August 7, 2008 surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Elliott and Gertrude McDowell.

Lorraine was born in Arlington on February 6, 1922. She was raised in Wrentham and was educated in Wrentham Public Schools. Lorraine proudly served her country in the United States Army during WWII. She and her husband Warren where married on November 23, 1950 at the South Walpole Methodist Church.

Lorraine earned her Nursing Degree at the Massasoit Community College in West Bridgewater. She worked for many years as RN for the Wrentham Developmental Center until she retired in 1987.

Lorraine was a member of the Foxborough 4H Club for over 40 years where she was a dog and horse trainer and instructor. She was also a member of the Foxborough American Legion Post 93 and the Doberman Rescue League. She was an avid bicyclist and enjoyed long rides on the Cape Cod Canal. She was a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother.
