James F. Eastman

November 15, 1958 - September 29, 2008

Devoted Son and Brother

Foxborough-James Francis Eastman, age 49, died suddenly in Foxboro on Monday, September 29, 2008.

James was born in Framingham on November 15, 1958. He was a long time Foxborough resident and a Foxborough High School Graduate Class, of 1976. While in Foxborough High School, he was named Massachusetts All State Musician in recognition of his musical accomplishments. He also attended the University of Lowell.

James worked for many years for Stop & Shop at various locations through out South East Massachusetts. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He also loved music and was a former bass guitar player for the Windwood Hollow Band. He was an avid New England Sports enthusiast.

Beloved son of Isabel B. (Sprague) Eastman of Foxborough. Loving brother of Brian W. Eastman of Foxborough and the late Scott J. Eastman. Devoted uncle of Daniel Scott and Heather Marie Eastman. Nephew of Walter Sprague of Wrentham and Margaret Kratzer of Foxborough. Cousin of Robert Kratzer of Foxborough.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, October 2, from 4-8 PM at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home 30 South St. in Foxboro. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9 AM at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter St. in Foxborough. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Foxborough.
