Shirley Lee Parker

Financial Director of Teen Challenge New England Shirley Lee (Gonsalves) Parker, age 56, died Tuesday March 7, 2006 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Lena Cataloni Gonsalves.
Shirley was born in Attleboro on February 10, 1950 and was a native of Mansfield were she graduated from Mansfield High School class of 1968. Shirley married her husband Thomas on January 7, 1995 at the South Attleboro Assembly of God Church. She and her husband have lived in Rehoboth for the past six years
Shirley was the Finance Director for Teen Challenge New England in Brockton. She formerly worked as a self employed real-estate appraiser. She was a member of the North Providence Assembly of God were she was a greeter, active in the church woman’s group and a supporter of Teen Challenge.
Shirley was an animal lover who loved the outdoors. She enjoyed feeding birds and building bird feeders and was an avid gardener. She was a devoted wife, sister, aunt and friend to all.
Beloved wife of Thomas L. Parker. Loving sister of Edward and his wife Anne and their two daughters Emily and Brenna all of Norton and the late Carol J. Austin.
Funeral Information
Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday March 12, from 4-8 pm at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home 30 South St. Foxborough. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 9:00 am at the North Providence Assembly of God, 244 Lexington Ave. in North Providence. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield.
