Mary E. Bearce

Mary Elizabeth (Kane) Bearce, 97, of North Falmouth, born in Brookline, formerly of Foxboro, died at the Royal Megansett in North Falmouth on Friday, January 4, 2008.

She was married for 56 years to the late Howard C. Bearce.

Mary leaves her sons David and his wife Ellen of Falmouth, Kevin and his wife Gerri of West Roxbury and John and his wife Cathy of North Falmouth. She was also the mother of the late Robert and Howard Bearce Jr.

Sister of the late Katherine Roe, Josephine Andrews, Thomas Kane, Helen Connell and JamesKane.

Grandmother of David Jr. of Enfield, CT., Paul of Longmeadow, Catherine Bearce Nowak of Westborough, Cheryl Bearce Grosso of Wellesley, John of Martinez, CA., Stephen Bearce of Arlington, VA. and Elizabeth of North Falmouth. Also survived by eleven great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews who were like her own children.

Mary was a Licensed Practical Nurse and retired in 1968 from the former Foxboro State Hospital. After her retirement she enjoyed wintering in Florida and summers in Falmouth with her family.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, January 8, from 10 to Noon at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St. Foxboro. Interment to follow at the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Foxboro.
