Owner and operator of Hancock Motors of Dorchester Salvatore Richard “Richie” Siracusa, age 56, died on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 from injuries incurred from a motorcycle accident in Mansfield. He was the son of Caroline (DeChristaforo) of Roslindale and the late Rosario S. Siracusa
Richie was born in Boston on April 4, 1950. He was a native of Roslindale and a graduate of Roslindale High School class of 1968. He also was a graduate of East Coast Aero Tech. class of 1970.
Richie and his wife Nancy where married on February 5, 1971 at St. Ann’s Church in Readville and has been a Foxboro resident for the past 35 years. He was the owner and operator of Hancock Motors of Dorchester.
Richie loved to spend time with his grandchildren and was an avid motorcycle enthusiast.
Beloved husband of Nancy S. (Long) Siracusa. Loving father of Lisa and her husband Seth Hendrickson and Susan and her husband Mark Merriott all of Mansfield. Devoted grandfather of Taylor, Samantha, Kylie, Kristina, Haley and Andrew. Brother of Dennis and Edward Siracusa of Roslindale.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Sunday September 17, from 2-4 & 7-9 at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home 30 South Street Foxboro. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 9 AM at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter Street, Foxboro. Interment to follow at Rock Hill Cemetery in Foxboro.
