Beloved Brother and Uncle Douglas Brenton Boyd
Douglas Brenton Boyd, age 73, died unexpededly at his home in Foxborough on Tuesday, August 26, 2008. He was the son of the late Joseph and Virginia (Shaw) Boyd.
Douglas was born in Boston on April 21, 1935. He was a resident of Foxborough for the past 30 years and was a former long time resident of Dedham. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.
Douglas was a valve assembler for Mason Neilon and Dresser Industries for over 46 years. He enjoyed flower gardening and raised Coy Fish in his manmade pond. He was a member of PETA and the Greyhound Friends, Inc.
Beloved husband of the late Beverly (Tedeman) Boyd. He was the loving brother of Donald Boyd and his wife Pauline of Foxborough. Devoted uncle of Joseph and his wife Nancy and Susan Boyd all of Foxboro and Grand uncle of Steven, Alex and Michael Boyd. Also survived by his two loving greyhounds, Toni and Sheila.
