Edward L. "Sonny" Judge

Retired Foreman for the City of Boston Parks Department Attleboro-Edward L. “Sonny” Judge, age 89 died on Sunday, April 4, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Attleboro surrounded by the comfort of his loving family. He was the son of the late Peter and Lillian (Sullivan) Judge.
Edward was born in Boston on January 12, 1921 and was educated in Boston Public Schools. Edward proudly served his country in the United States Army in WWII where he participated in the Normandy, Rhineland and Ardennes campaigns. He was a long time resident of Jamaica Plain and resided in Attleboro for the past five years.
Edward worked for the City of Boston Parks Department and retired as a foreman in 1985 after 32 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion in Jamaica Plain and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was also a member of the B.O.E. in Boston.
Beloved uncle of Robert and Valerie Lomus of Foxboro and several other nieces and nephews. Loving brother of the late Catherine Lomus, Lillian DeSisto and Peter and Paul Judge.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 from 4-8 PM at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home 30 South St. in Foxborough. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter Street, Foxborough. Interment to follow at Mt. Benedict Cemetery in West Roxbury.
