Foxborough-Carolyn B. Heaton, age 93, died on Monday, January 5, 2008 at the Epoch of Sharon. She was the daughter of the late Everett and Blanche (Bell) Partington.

Carolyn was born on March 25, 1915 in Mansfield and was a graduate of Mansfield High School, Class of 1933. Carolyn married her husband Henry Heaton on March 24, 1934 in Mansfield. She has been a resident of Foxborough since 1947.

Carolyn worked at the Foxboro Company Print Shop for over 10 years. She was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Foxborough where she volunteered for the JOY program and helped with the monthly church bulletin. She also was a long time volunteer for the Trading Post in Foxborough.

She was volunteer driver for the Foxborough Senior Citizen Program and was a former neighborhood captain for the American Heart Assoc. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and a member of the Rebecca’s.

She was the wife of the late Henry Heaton. Loving mother of Warren Heaton of Foxborough, Robert Heaton and his wife Lee of Maine, Jane Cherico of Foxborough Pamela (Heaton) Elizabeth of Providence and mother in-law of the late Marcia Heaton. Siter of the late Lillian Uhrig, Esther Burrell, Everett Partington and Louise Partington. She was the loving grandmother of the late Warren Heaton and is survived by 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, Jan. 7, from 3 – 7 PM at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St. in Foxborough. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 AM at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 116 South St. in Foxborough. Interment to follow at Rock Hill Cemetery in Foxborough.
