Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather Foxborough – Charles Henry Weisker, Sr., age 90, died at his home surrounded by the comfort of his loving family. He was the son of the late Charles H. Weisker and Katharine F. (Leask) Weisker Taisey.
Charlie was born in East Orange, NJ and attended Darien High School. He was a graduate of Moses Brown School in 1937 and Dartmouth College, Class of 1941. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. He retired in 1979 from the United States Navy Reserves as a Lieutenant Commander. He and his wife Margaret F. (Ryan) were married at the Our Lady of Most Holy Rosary Church in Richmond, VT in 1953.
Charlie worked for many years as an architect for Korslund, LeNormand and Quann in Norwood. He was a member of the Dartmouth Outing Club, an avid skier, outdoorsman and traveler. He enjoyed oil and watercolor painting. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Beloved husband of Margaret “Peg” F. Weisker. Loving father of Charles H. “Karl” Weisker, Jr., Foxborough, Karen “Kay” Andberg and her husband Steven, Foxborough, Kristin Weisker and her husband Alexander Cuddeback, Mansfield and Beth McCarty and her husband Timothy, Okinawa, Japan. Uncle of Katharine Lofgren, Littleton, NH and Russell Armstrong, Bath, NH. Also survived by eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on from 5 to 8 pm at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 am at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter Street, Foxborough. For additional information please contact 508 543-5471.
