Thurley "Packy" Ellis

June 28, 1911 - June 13, 2006

Thurley (Packard) “Packy” Ellis, age 94, died on Tuesday June 13, at the Oxford Nursing Home in Haverhill surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. Thurley was the daughter of the late Clarence B. and Ethel (Hitchcock) Packard.

Thurley was born on June 28, 1911 in Erving, Massachusetts. She was a graduate of Greenfield High School and Attended North Hampton Normal School.

She was a member of the May Flower Society, The Daughters of the American Revolution and the New England Genealogical Society.

Wife of the late Alison M. “Huck” Ellis. Loving mother of Jane Chadwick of Haverhill and David Ellis and his wife Priscilla of Gilmanton, NH. Devoted grandmother of Richard Ellis of Arizona, Jonathan Ellis of Salem, NH, Bethany Smith and her husband Jesse of Haverhill and Jeremy Chadwick, USCG, Staten Island, New York. Great-grandmother of Madison Chadwick.

Funeral Information

A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 24, at 11:00 AM at the Barton Chapel of the Bethany Congregational Church, 3 Rockhill Street in Foxboro Center.
