Harold Eugene Law

Harold Eugene “Gene” Law, age 80, died on Sunday, July 15 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the son of the late William and Dorothy “Collins” Law.

Gene was born in North Attleboro on September 28, 1926 and was a graduate of Foxboro High School and attended Dean Junior College. Gene proudly served his country in the US Army in WWII. He and his wife Grace (Metcalf) were married on April 28, 1951 in Wrentham, MA.

Gene was employed in sales at the Foxboro Company for thirtynine years and was employed at Rodman Ford for many years during his semi-retirement. He was a member of the St. Alban’s Lodge A.F. and A.M. of Foxboro and the Foxboro American Legion Post 93. Gene devoted his final years to the care of his beloved wife and enjoyed an active bowling schedule with his dear daughter.

Beloved husband of Grace Francena Evergene (Metcalf) Law. Loving father of Grace-Ann and her husband Ronald Normand of North Attleboro, Bennett Eugene Law and his spouse Thomas Bivins of Bethel, VT and Bruce Earl Law and his husband Robert Ruggiero of Plympton. Brother of the late Phillip Wayne Law.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to calling hours on Friday, July 20 from 4 to 8 pmwhich will conclude with a Masonic ceremony at 8 pm at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro.
