Hazen “Herb” H. Bishop

Foxborough – Hazen “Herb” H. Bishop, age 80, died unexpectedly at his home on Friday, February 6. Herb was the son of the late William and Cynthia Bishop.

Herb was born on January 6, 1929 in East Walpole. He was a graduate of Walpole High School, Class of 1946. He married his wife Anne Graham on October 6, 1956 at the First Baptist Church in Sharon. Herb was a native of Norfolk and had lived in Foxboro for the past forty five years. Herb proudly served his country in the Army National Guards for several years. Herb was cabinetmaker at the Charles A. Burrell Cabinet Makers. He worked at Crescent Ridge Dairy in Sharon until retiring in 1994. He then worked at Aubuchon’s Hardware in Foxboro and Stop & Shop in Plainville.

Herb was freshwater fisherman, deer hunter, and woodworker. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Herb and his wife Anne enjoyed visiting friends and family in Canada.

Beloved husband of Anne G. (Graham) of Foxboro. Devoted father of Wayne and his wife Judy Bishop of Wrentham. Adoring grandfather of Wesley and Kip Bishop. Brother of William Bishop of Sharon and the late Lawrence, Charles, Carl Bishop and Etta Brown.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, February 11 from 5 to 8 pm at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South street, Foxboro. A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 12 at 11 am at the Union Church of South Foxboro. Interment to follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
