Ann T. Tardivo Messina

Beloved Mother and Grandmother Foxborough-Ann T. Tardivo Messina, age 93, of Foxborough, former long time resident of Belmont died at her home on Sunday, July 12, 2009. She was the wife of the late Charles Tardivo and John Messina.
Ann was born in Boston on April 4, 1916 and was the daughter of the late Antonio and Jenny (Alizio) Inferrera who were both natives of Sicily. She was a Belomont resident for over eighty five years until moving to Foxborough two years ago.
Ann worked as a sales manager for Filene’s in Belmont for over twenty years until her retirement in 1982. She was a proud member of the Sons of Italy Maria Montessori Lodge No. 1744 in Belmont. She enjoyed traveling with her friends in the Belmont Seniors Program. This past April she celebrated her ninety third birthday with a birthday lunch put on by the Foxborough Senior Center. Ann loved spending time with her family and enjoyed hosting many family gatherings at her home in Belmont. She also enjoyed playing bingo with her bingo buddies at the Belmont Senior Center.
Beloved mother of Joanne Ouimet and her husband Paul of Foxboro and Charles Tardivo and his wife Mary Breiner of Lakewood, OH. Loving sister of Sadie Tardivo of Belmont and the late Josephine Brennan. Also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral Information
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at 11 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 130 Common Street in Belmont. Interment to follow at Belmont Cemetery. Calling hours are omitted.
