Therese Maria Edgar

February 20, 1927 - August 11, 2008

Therese Maria (Bult) Edgar, age 81, of Foxboro passed away suddenly Monday evening, August 11 at her home. She was the wife of Ernest (Fred) Edgar and the daughter of the late William and Wilhelmina Schoenberger-Bult

Therese was born in Nymegen, Holland on February 20, 1927. She graduated
from college in Holland and moved to Boston in March of 1959. Her future
husband, Ernest (Fred) moved to Boston within a week of her arrival, also from
Holland. They first met in 1964 and were married on November 22, 1965 in
Boston.

She worked for many years for Massachusetts General Hospital as a
bacteriologist, until her retirement in 1991. Therese was an avid bridge
player and reader and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Beloved wife of Ernest W.(Fred) Edgar. Loving mother of Robert Edgar of N.
Attleboro, Vanessa Edgar and her beloved Gregg Scully of Farmington, CT, and Wilfred and his wife Sherri Edgar of Denver, CO. Dear grandmother of Alexandra and Luke
Edgar and Carter Paul Scully. Sister of William Bult, Katherine Smeets, Harrie,
Frank, and Maria Bult, all of Holland and Willy and Tom Jurrissen of NJ.

Funeral Information

Friends and relatives are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Sunday,
August 17 from 2 to 6 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South
Street, Foxboro. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 18 at 9
am at St. Mary's Church, Carpenter Street, Foxboro. Interment to follow at
