George "Gigi" Maloof

February 22, 2006 - October 27, 2006

Former Manager for the Highway Bowlaway of Walpole.

George “Gigi” Maloof, age 90, died peacefully on Friday October 27 in the comfort of his son and daughter. He was the husband of the late Ann E. (Fisher) Maloof who died on May 16, 2005.

George was born in Boston on February 22, 1916 and was the son of the late Ayoub and Malaky Maloof. He was raised in West Roxbury and has been a Foxboro resident for the past 56 years.

George for many years was the manager for the Highway Bowlaway in Walpole. He also was the owner and operator of Dan Dee Stables at the former Foxboro Race Way. In more recent years he was an assistant steward at the Brook Meadow Country Club in Canton.

George was an avid Bowler, golfer and a member of the Foxboro Knights of Columbus 6063 Council. He was also an avid New England Patriot and Boston Red Sox Fan.

Beloved Husband of 65 years of Ann E. (Fisher) Maloof. Loving Father of George “Dan” Maloof of Dedham, Patricia Richards of Foxboro and the late Maureen Espinoza. Devoted grandfather of Allen, Tim, Lyn and Heather and great grandfather of Alessandra, Andrew, Brandon and Jackson.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Friday, November 3, from 4-8 PM at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home 30 South St. Foxboro. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 AM on Saturday at the St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter St., Foxboro. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Foxboro.
