Edward A. Bouchard

October 27, 1926 - November 12, 2009

Edward Armand Bouchard, age 83, died on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the Rhode Island Medical Center in Providence surrounded by the comfort of his loving family. He was the son of the late Alfred and Leotine (Roussell) Bouchard.

Edward was born on October 27th 1926 in Fall River and was a graduate of Prevost High School, Class of 1948. Edward proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corps during WWII. He married his wife Emilienne in 1956 at the Notre Dame Church in Fall River.

Edward retired after 20 years as a customer contact coordinator for the Foxboro Company in 1987. He was a devoted husband and father and loved spending time with his family. He also had a deep passion for Opera and loved classical music. He was a Mansfield resident for the past forty three years.

Beloved husband of Emilienne (Desrosiers) Bouchard. Loving father of Suzanne and her husband Gregory Jackson of Little Compton, RI, Roland Bouchard of Minneapolis, MN, Charles Bouchard and his wife Carol of Hickory, NC, Raymond Bouchard and his wife Paula of Foxborough and Gilbert Bouchard and his wife Vicki of North Attleboro. Brother of Aline Tellstone of Blackstone. Also survived by ten grandchildren and one great grandson and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends our kindly invited to attend a funeral service Tuesday, November 17, starting at 9 AM from the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St. in Foxborough followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt Street in Mansfield.
