Lawrence C. Luck

July 23, 1941 - May 16, 2005

A former manager at Chrysler Distribution Center in Mansfield

Lawrence Charles Luck, age 64, a resident of Foxboro for the past fifteen years, died Monday, May 16 at Caritas Norwood Hospital. He was the son of the late Marvin and Marion (Sullivan) Luck.

Born in Buffalo, NY on July 23, 1941, he attended Kingston High School. He married his wife, Lorraine (Blake) at St. James Church in Buffalo, NY on January 26, 1963. Proudly served in the US Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis and the outbreak of the Vietnam War.

Lawrence worked for over 30 years for the Chrysler Corporation. He was at one time an employee assistant program representative and retired in 1998 as a warehouse manager at the Chrysler Distribution Center in Mansfield. Lawrence was a Civil War history enthusiast and enjoyed archeology. He also enjoyed all kinds of history and was a diehard Buffalo Bills fan.

Besides his wife, Lorraine, he leaves two sons: Daniel Luck of N. Attleboro and Jeffrey Luck of Walworth, NY and a daughter, Holly Butler of Mansfield. Also survived by two brothers; Charles and Bruce Luck, both of CO, and a sister, Faith Paolini of NY. He was the devoted grandfather of Randy, Tyler, Shelby and Derek.

Funeral Information

Friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend calling hours Wednesday, May 18 from 4-8 pm at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, May 19 at 9 am at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter St., Foxboro. Interment to follow with Naval Honors at Rock Hill Cemetery in Foxboro.
