Thomas William Kane

Self Employed Sales Representative

Thomas William Kane, age 52 of Foxboro died at Massachusetts General Hospital on Monday, May 23. He was the son of the late Thomas E. and Rita A. (Nichols) Kane.

Native of Norwood, Thomas grew up in Walpole, where he was a 1970 graduate of Walpole High School. Mr. Kane was a 1974 graduate of Providence College. He was a Marine Field Artillery Officer in the Vietnam War. He married his wife Patrice Devin at St. Anthony’s Church of Cohasset in 1981. He was a seasoned sales representative and account executive. He was passionate about the history of the Civil War. He was a member of many trade organizations as well as an avid amateur astronomer, Red Sox and Patriots fan. He was also an avid salt water fisherman.

Besides his beloved wife Patrice, he was the loving father of two daughters, Meghara Devin and Sarah Nichols Kane, both of Foxboro. Brother of Timothy and his wife, Connie Kane of Wrentham. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Friends and family are cordially invited to calling hours on Thursday, May 26 from 4-8 pm at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, May 27 at 9 am at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter Street, Foxboro. Interment with Marine Honors to follow at Rock Hill Cemetery, South Street, Foxboro. For additional information, please contact 508 543-5471.
