Beryl R. (Brown) Smith

January 10, 1924 - June 15, 2005

Beryl R. (Brown) Smith of Plymouth formerly of Foxboro, Norton, North Attleboro and Plainville died Wednesday June 15, 2005 at Jordan Hospital in Plymouth.

Beryl was born in Fall River on January 10, 1934 the daughter of the late Charles R. and Dorothy L. (Davol) Brown. She graduated from North Attleboro High School class of 1952 and attended Dean College in Franklin. She was a secretary for the former Balfour Jewelry Co. of Attleboro, The Foxboro Company of Foxboro and The Wrentham State School in Wrentham. She was a Past-Matron of the former Easter Chapter O.E.S. no. 47 of Foxboro where she was a member for over 25 years. She was also a member of the White Shrine of Jerusalem a Shriners organization in Brockton.

She was mother of David M. Smith of Pawtucket, RI, Robert F. Smith of Plymouth, Steven M. Smith of Woonsocket, RI and the late Debbie Smith. Beryl is also survived by five grandchildren, Nicole, Jennifer, Erin, Jessica and Olivia, also her Sisters Dorothy Thompson of Norfolk and Carol Mazelli of Norton.

Funeral Information

Funeral Service on Tuesday June 21 at 11 AM with the Reverend John Sullivan Pastor of Tri-County Full Gospel Fellowship of Franklin, officiating, at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home 30 South Street Foxboro. Calling Hours on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Burial will be at Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield. A reception will follow in the South Foxboro Community Club at the corner of South Street and North Grove Street.
