Esther L. Burrell

Esther L. (Partington) Burrell, age 88 of 55 Newland Street, Norton, formerly of Mansfield and Foxborough,died at the Daggett Crandall Newcomb Home where she resided for the past year, died on July 8, 2005.

Mrs. Burrell was born in Mansfield on March 30, 1917, a daughter of the late Blanche M. [Bell] and Everett M. Partington. She was educated in Mansfield Public Schools. Prior to retirement, Esther worked for the Foxborough High School Cafeteria and later for several years at the Foxboro Company Print Shop where she was a master printer. Esther was a lifetime member of the former Easter Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Angle Stone Chapter.

She loved raising her children in Foxborough, gardening with her late husband, and devouring crossword puzzles. She was an avid NE Patriots fan and always had a crowd over to watch the games with her.

She was wife of the Charles A. Burrill Jr. and is survived by a son Charles A. Burrell III of York, PA and her late daughter-in-law, Andrea L. Burrell, a daughter, Diane E. "Deb" Kanady and her husband, Kenneth, three grandchildren, Renee and her husband, Michael George of York, PA, Geoffrey Burrell and his wife Tracy, of Lynchburg, VA, and Grecel Paclipan of Davao City, Philippines. Three Great-grand-children, Brendan and Bryce Burrell of NY, and Madyson of PA., a sister, Carolyn Heaton of Foxboro and many nieces and nephews. Esther was the sister of the late Lillian Uhrig, Everett Partington, and Louise Partington.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours at the Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro, MA on Monday, July 11, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm including O.E.S. service to be held at 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at St. Marks Episcopal Church, 116 South Street, Foxboro, MA on Tuesday, July 12, at 10 a.m.
