Helen G. (Devine) Dugas

Helen Genevieve (Devine) Dugas, Age 90 Died at her home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday July 7, 2005. She was the Wife of the late Victor Joseph Dugas.

Helen was born in Foxboro on June 25, 1915 and was the daughter of John Henry and Margaret Ellen (Ryan) Devine. She was a life long Foxboro resident where she was a graduate of Foxboro High School Class of 1933. She married her husband Victor on January 6, 1940 in Foxboro.

She was a Homemaker and a Volunteer at Norwood Hospital for many years until six months before her death. She was a devout communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Foxboro. For many years she was a member of the St. Mary’s Church Choir and was a funeral soloist. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She was the loving mother of Jane M. Dugas of Rochester, NH, Dr. Kevin V. Dugas and his wife Linda of Lee, NH and Neil E. Dugas of Cambridge, MA. Devoted Grandmother of Kim and her husband Mike Hopwood of Burlington, VT and Kristen and her husband Dr. John Fox of Atlanta, GA. Great Grandmother of Ethan and Cole Fox. Sister of Edward F. and his wife Virginia Devine of Foxboro.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Sunday July 10, from 5-8:pm at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home 30 South St. Foxboro. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday July 11, at 9:am at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter St., in Foxboro. Internment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Foxboro.
