David S. Towne

November 02, 1957 - July 15, 2005

David Scott Towne, age 47, of North Attleboro, died at Quincy Medical Center on Thursday July 14, after a long illness.

David was born in Boston on November 2, 1957 and was a native of Westwood where he graduated from high school in 1975. He married his wife Lori I. (Lebrun) on October 3, 1987 in Blackstone, MA. He worked as a Service technician for Verizon in Boston for over 26 years.

David was a passionate motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed long range trips including one to Sturgis, South Dakota. He enjoyed traveling with his wife around the United States visiting the country’s national parks. David was a nature lover and bird watcher. He was also an avid amateur photographer. David loved spending time with his many close friends.

He was the devoted son of George W. and Marion (Weed) Towne of Westwood. Loving Brother of Buddy Towne of Urangan, Australia, Donald Towne of Norwood, Eric Towne of Westwood, Marilyn Flynn of Foxboro and the late Richard Towne. He is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

A memorial Service to celebrate David’s life will be held on Tuesday July 19, at 11:00 am at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home 30 South St. Foxboro.
