Louise J. Niles

Former Long Time Foxboro Resident

Louise J. (Terranova) Niles, age 85, of Albuquerque, NM, former long time Foxboro resident died July 15. She was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Vincenza Terranova. Wife of the late Albert W. Niles, Jr.

She was born in Boston on August 4, 1919, where she graduated from Roxbury Memorial High School, Class of 1937. She worked for many years as a telephone operator for New England Telephone and also worked as a telephone operator at Bird Machine of S. Walpole. She married her husband Albert in Boston on March 14, 1942. She and her husband owned and operated Four Corners Mobil Station on Route 1 in Foxboro for many years. She was a member of the Friends of Foxboro Seniors Inc. and was an active participant in the Foxboro Senior Citizen programs.

Loving mother of Kathleen Grabowski and her husband Carl of Rodelsee, Germany and James Niles and his wife Margaret of Albuquerque, NM. Beloved grandmother of Darla Campbell, Justin Wallace, Cameron Niles and Brandon Niles. Also survived by five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Sister of Marie Forsyth of Foxboro, Natalie Long of Edisto Island, SC and Jacqueline Haebacker of Jacksonville, FL. Sister of the late Emerlinda Terranova, Jennie Donahue, Lena Thorpe, Eleanor Palmieri, Catherine Minkley and Josephine Harris.

Funeral Information

A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter Street, Foxboro on Monday, August 8 at 9 am with interment following at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
