Frank E. Tibbetts Sr.

May 15, 1918 - August 22, 2005

Frank E. Tibbetts of Foxboro Died at Caritas Norwood Hospital on Monday August 22, 2005.

He was a graduate of Brighton High School and during WWII he joined the U.S. Navy and served as a recuiter in Boston. Frank worked for the Boston Globe from 1934 to 1978 and retired as a Circulation Field Representative.

Frank was a member of the Foxboro American Legion post 93. He was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church of Foxboro for many years. Frank loved to work in his flower gardens.

He was son of the late John and Katherine (Lorway) Tibbetts. He was husband of the late Margaret a. (MacEachern) who died on July 12, 2000. Loving Father of Donna and her husband Manny Costa of Norton, Marjorie and her husband Joseph Richards of Plainville, Frank Tibbets Jr. and his wife Linda of Wrentham, Donald R. Tibbetts and John and his wife Diane Tibbetts of Foxboro. Also survived by 15 Grand. and 5 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours from 7-9:pm on Wed. Aug. 24 at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home 30 South St. Foxboro. A Funeral Service will be held on Thurs. Aug. 25, at 11:00am at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow with U.S. Navy Honors at Rock Hill Cemetery in Foxboro.
