Claire E. Burke

Retired Claims Processor Claire E. (Donahue) Burke, died suddenly at her home in Foxboro on Monday, August 29. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Donahue.
She was born in Dorchester on September 24, 1933 and was a graduate of Dorchester High School. She was a long time resident of Randolph prior to moving to Foxboro three years ago. She worked for the Prudential Insurance Company in Boston for over 25 years and retired as a claims processor in the Health and Benefit Department in 1986. Claire loved her grandchildren and was an avid gardener and enjoyed old movies.
Loving mother of Thomas J. Burke and his wife Ellen of Foxboro. Grandmother of Christine, Dan and Katie Burke, all of Foxboro.
Funeral Information
Friends and relatives are kindly invited to calling hours on Thursday, September 1 from 4 to 8 pm at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 2 at 9 am at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter Street, Foxboro. Interment to follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
