Howard Gilmore Dalzell

January 20, 1931 - October 08, 2005

Howard Gilmore Dalzell, age 74, of Meredith , NH, formerly of Dover and a long time Foxboro resident, died at Caritas Norwood Hospital on Saturday, October 8, surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late David and Edith (Morine) Dalzell.

Born in Brookline, January 20, 1931, where he was educated in Brookline Public Schools. He was a Korean War Veteran, US Army. He worked for many years as an auto dealer until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Foxboro American Legion. He was a devoted father and grandfather.

He was the devoted husband of Kathleen Frances (Morine) Dalzell. Loving father of David Dalzell of Norfolk, Kathleen Fitzgerald and John Dalzell, both of Wrentham and Paul Dalzell of Foxboro. Brother of David Dalzell of Brookline and Deborah Brenneman of Foxboro. Beloved grandfather of ten.

Funeral Information

Friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend calling hours from 4 to 8 pm on Tuesday, October 11 at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 116 South Street, at 11 am on Wednesday, October 12; with Rev. Rebecca S. Brown officiating.
