Maryanne (Sion) Brown, age 51, of Foxboro, died at Caritas Norwood Hospital, Thursday, October 13 surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Edward G. and Josephine (Habib) Sion.

Maryanne was born on March 26, 1954 in Munsingen, Germany. She was a former long time resident of W. Roxbury. She was a 1972 graduate of Ursuline Academy and a graduate of Boston Business School Class of 1974. Maryanne and her husband, Clifton, were married June 11, 1977 at Our Lady of the Annunciation Cathedral in Boston. She worked for sixteen years as a legal secretary for Nutter, McClennen & Fish LLP of Boston and for McDermott, Will & Emery LLP in Boston, since April, 2004.

Maryanne was the beloved wife of Clifton H. Brown. She was the loving mother of Lauren Brown of New York, NY and Cheryl Brown of North Haven, CT, and devoted sister of Rita Pilis of Franklin.

Funeral Information

Friends and family are cordially invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, October 18 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 19 at 11 am. Interment to follow at Mount Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
