North Attleboro – Gerald F. Dugan, age 79, died at home surrounded by the comfort of his loving family on Monday, May 12, 2008. Gerald was the son of the late M. Madalaine Maddock.

Gerald was born on May 11, 1929 in Braintree. Gerald proudly served his country in the US Army. He was employed as a lineman at the North Attleboro Electric Department for thirty two years. Gerald loved to tinker and could fix anything. He enjoyed helping friends and fishing with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed playing cards with his Sunday morning card group.

Loving husband of Patricia Ann Dugan. Beloved father of David S. Dugan and his wife Irene of NC. Brother of Jane Roche of Nantucket, Jayne Wagstaff of Falmouth, Rev. Jay T. Maddock of Taunton, the late James Maddock, John Maddock and Paul Maddock. Adoring grandfather of Thomas, James, Kellie and Alyson. Great grandfather of Jared.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 pm on Thursday, May 15 at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 16 at 11 am at St. Mark’s Church, N. Attleboro with US Army military honors. For additional information please contact 508 543-5471.
