Theresa A. Godfrey

Theresa A. (Melanson) Godfrey, age 76, of Foxboro died on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at the Caritas St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Brighton. She was the widow of the late Leigh Godfrey.

Born in Tewksbury, She was the daughter of the late Clifford and Mary (Currivan) Rathbun. She was raised in Mansfield and was a graduate of Mansfield High School Class of 1947. She moved to Foxboro Shortly after her marriage in 1958.

Theresa had worked for the Foxboro Company as a secretary for a number of years until retiring in 1984. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Foxboro. She loved to knit and spend time with her family and friends.

She is survived by two daughters: Ellen L and Lorraine Godfrey, and one son Paul H. Godfrey all of Foxboro, and two sisters Mary Vaughan of Mansfield and Helen Rogers of Manchester, CT.

Funeral Information

Friends and relatives are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Friday, March 30, from 4 to 7 PM at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home 30 South Street in Foxboro. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday March 31, at 9 AM at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter St. in Foxboro. Interment to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Foxboro.
