David J. Fasolino Jr.

October 07, 1945 - February 17, 2009

Retired Car Inspector from CSX of Boston

David John Fasolino, Jr, age 63, died at his home on Friday, February 20, 2009 surrounded by the comfort of his loving family. He is the son of David J. Fasolino, Sr. and the late Mary (Ricci) Fasolino.

David was born in Boston on October 7, 1945. He was a graduate of Hyde Park High School, Class of 63. David proudly served his country in the Army National Guard during Vietnam. He married his wife Sandra (Sevieri) at Holy Name Church in W. Roxbury on October 14, 1967. He has been a Norton resident for the past thirteen years and was a former long time resident of W. Roxbury.

David was a car inspector for CSX in Boston and retired in 2005. He was a member of the TW Union. David enjoyed tending to his animals on his Norton farm. He also enjoyed hosting parties and cookouts for his families and friends including the annual pig roast, for which he served hundreds. David was a devoted and loving husband, son, father and grandfather.

Beloved husband of Sandra M. (Sevieri) Fasolino. Loving father of Lisa M. Fasolino and her fiancee Michael Mason of Norton, Donna A. and her husband Sean Flynn of Uxbridge, Joseph P. Fasolino and his wife Sheila of Norton and the late David J. Fasolino, III. Devoted brother of John Fasolino of Kingston, George Fasolino of Medway, Steven Fasolino of Braintree and the late Paul Fasolino. Also survived by nine loving grandchildren.

Funeral Information

Friends and relatives are kindly invited to attend calling hours from 4 to 8 PM on Monday, February 23, at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9 AM at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter Street, Foxboro. Interment to follow at Rock Hill Cemetery, Foxboro.
