Beloved Son, Brother and Uncle Hawaii-Timothy “Tim” James Wells, age 54, resident of Honolulu, HI, passed away unexpectedly, December 5, 2011.
Tim was a 1975 graduate of Foxboro High School, and received a Bachelor’s degree from Bentley University in 1980. He served many in the numerous restaurant and lounges throughout his career, including establishments on Martha’s Vineyard, in the Framingham, MA area, and on various islands of Hawaii.
He was an avid bicyclist, who raised funds for the American Lung Association, as he pursued his peddling pleasure. As a competitive Scrabble player, he participated in Scrabble National Championship tournaments.
Tim will be greatly missed by his parents, Leo and Jeanne Wells of Foxboro; his siblings, Dennis Wells of Martha’s Vineyard, Larry and his wife Paulette Packey-Wells of North Attleboro, Jeanne Wells of Foxboro, Nancy Sanchez and her husband Jerry of South Easton, and Fran Wells of Rhode Island; as well as many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Tim was preceded in death by his brother Douglas Wells.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 from 4-8 PM at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home 30 South St., Foxborough. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 58 Carpenter St., Foxborough. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Foxborough.
