Caroline R. White

A Mother to Many Caroline Rita “Kay” (Florek) White, age 85, died at Caritas Norwood Hospital on July 1, 2008 surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. Caroline was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Grabowska) Florek.
Kay was born on September 26, 1922 in Dedham. She married her late husband, Daniel White on December 20, 1947. Kay was a Re-checker for Rustcaft Greeting Card Company in Dedham. She worked for Rustcraft for many years until their relocation in the mid 1970’s. She enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with family members.
Beloved sister of Edmund H. Florek of Norwood. Although Kay never had children of her own, she was like a mother to many. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and many grand nieces and grand nephews. Also, she was the sister of the late Stanley, Benjamin “Bucky”, Francis “Frank” Florek and Sophie DeLaiarro
Funeral Information
Friends and family are cordially invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, July 6 from 4 to 7 pm at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 am on Monday, July 7 at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter Street, Foxboro. Interment to follow at Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
