Dick "Whiz" White
December 19, 1934 - May 28, 2006
Retired Steel Salesman Dick “Whiz” White, age 71, of N. Attleboro died surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, May 28. Born in Saugus on December 19, 1935, he was the son of Dorothy White of Wakefield, NH and the late John W. White.
Dick graduated from Saugus High School in 1953 where he was voted Most Versitile and King of the Prom. Dick married his wife of forty nine years, Barbara J. (Nelson) on September 8, 1956. Dick was a steel salesman for Ward Steel, Charlotte, NC, National Steel of Randolph, was driver for Patriot Supply of Mansfield and was a dispatcher for the Foxboro Terminals.
Dick proudly served his country in the US Army in Germany during the Korean War. He was a member of the Foxboro Country Club since 1968. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed sports. He was also a member of the Foxboro Fish & Game.
Beloved husband of Barbara J. (Nelson) of N. Attleboro. Loving father of Sharon and her husband Joe Heinricher, Donna and her husband Eric Sweed all of Foxboro and Sandra White Nelson of Florida. Adoring grandfather of Kayla, Jaime and Brendan. Cherished son of Dorothy White of Wakefield, NH. Brother of Jack and his wife Barbara White of Wakefield, NH and Larry and his wife Esther White of Wakefield, MA.

Friends and family are kindly invited to calling hours on Friday, June 2 from 4 to 8 pm at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. Funeral Saturday, June 3 at 10:AM from the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home Followed by funeral services at 11:Am at Bethany Congregational Church, 3 Rockhill Street, Foxboro.
