Katherine M. Cummings

Katherine M. (Thomas) Cummings, Age 51, died on Thursday November 17, at Caritas Norwood Hospital surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was Loving daughter of Louise (Aslin) and the late Anthony J. Thomas.

Katherine was born in Norwood on July 6, 1954 and was a Native of Sharon where she attended Sharon Public Schools. Katherine worked for many years for the Foxboro Public School System and was a member of the Foxboro fire Dept. Women’s Auxiliary. Katherine was an avid reader and enjoyed Sewing and Crocheting. Katherine was a devoted mother and grandmother.

Katherine was the beloved mother, Andrea B. Cummings, Jennifer L. Nicholls, Kimberly E. and Deena A. Cummings, all of Foxboro and of Ryan N. Cummings of Walpole. Former wife of Merlyn L. Cummings. Loving sister of Philip Thomas and his wife Priscilla of Foxboro, Anthony “Jimmy” Jr., Eva and Dennis Johnson, Cynthia Thomas, and Patricia Alexander all of Utah and Linda Thomas of Plymouth. She was also survived by 4 Cherished Grandchildren Jordon, Jade, Michael Jr. and Aiven.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Sunday November 20, from 2-4 & 7-9 at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home 30 South Street Foxboro. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11:am at Bethany Congregational Church, 3 Rock Hill Street, Foxboro. Interment to follow at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
