Beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother

Doris E. (Boyden) Willis, age 78, died December 28, 2008 at Caritas Norwood Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Walter R. and Emma A. (Vietz) Boyden.

Doris was born on May 2, 1930 in Walpole. She was a graduate of Walpole High School, Class of 1948. Doris was employed for several years as a clerk at Walpole Woodworkers.

Doris was an active member of the Foxboro Senior Center and enjoyed gardening and knitting. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed cooking for them. She wintered in Umatilla, FL for 19 years.

Beloved wife of Robert L. Willis. Loving mother of Donald R. Willis and his wife Merrie of Foxboro, Alan R. Willis of Foxboro and Diane E. and her husband Jeff Hosking of Walpole. Devoted grandmother of Jennifer, Tara and Kerrie Willis and Crystal, Weston and Katelyn Hosking. Cherished great grandmother of Micayla and Aubrey. Sister of Mildred Willis of Medfield, Nancy Winslow of NC, Joyce Morse of Plymouth and the late Raymond Boyden.

Funeral Information

Friends and relatives are kindly invited to attend a memorial service on January 9, 2009 at 11 am at the United Methodist Church at S. Walpole, 1886 Washington Street, South Walpole.
