Rene L. Allaire

Loving Father and Grandfather

Foxborough-Rene' Lucien Allaire, age 66, died on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro surrounded by the comfort of his loving family. He was the husband of the late Gael E. Bokelman.

Rene' was born in Woonsocket, RI on September 5, 1943 and was the son of the late Raymond and Venita (Gregoire) Allaire. Rene' proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Benjamin Franklin Institute in Boston.

Rene' was an Instrument Technician for Polaroid in Norwood for over 32 years. He retired in September of 2006. He spent summers at Bourne Scenic Campground and enjoyed fishing and vegetable gardening. He was a loving father and grandfather.

Beloved father of Tammy Anne Cabral of New Bedford, Christopher Allaire of Foxborough and Colleen Allaire of New Port Richey, FL. Loving grandfather of Jason Cabral of New Bedford. Brother of Vivienne Schaeller of Falmouth.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, January 10, 2010 from 1-4 PM at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St. in Foxborough. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 53 Carpenter St. in Foxborough.
