Carole M. MacAulay

Beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother Foxborough-Carole Marie MacAulay, age 73, died on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at her daughter’s home in Franklin after a long battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Angus and Muriel (Wadman) MacDonald.
Carole was born in Glace Bay, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada on December 13, 1934 and was a graduate of Morrison High School in Glace Bay, Class of 1953. She married her husband Donald in Glace Bay on January 29, 1954. Carole and Donald raised their family in Brookline, Massachusetts where they resided for over 40 years.
Carole worked as a data entry technician for Sears Catalog Stores in Boston until retiring in 1990.She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed square dancing with her husband. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother grandmother, sister and friend.
Beloved wife of Donald C. MacAulay. Loving mother of Kirk MacAulay and his wife Alice of Norfolk and Luanne MacAulay of Franklin. Devoted grandmother of Kelsey, Nicole and Kyle MacAulay of Norfolk. Sister of Anita Fowler of Roslindale and Eleanor Lewis of Lockport, Cape Breton. Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, December 7, from 4-8 PM at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St. in Foxborough. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 AM at the Bethany Congregational Church, 3 Rockhill St. in Foxborough Center. Interment to follow at Rock Hill Cemetery in Foxborough.
