Loving and Devoted Mother and Grandmother

Easton - Ellen “Nana” Alice Geraldine (Carlson) Bousquet, age 82, died Sunday, April 19 at her daughter’s home in Easton surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. Ellen was the daughter of the late John and Helga (Jarl) Carlson.

Ellen was born in Easton on July 7, 1926. She was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School, Class of 1945. She was the daughter of Swedish immigrants, celebrated her heritage and maintained Swedish traditions with her family. She enjoyed traveling to Sweden to visit many cousins in Borås and Tranås.

Ellen worked for over twenty five years at Goddard Hospital in Stoughton and retired as an accounts receivable supervisor. She was a real estate entrepreneur in the town of Easton. Ellen was a life long member of the Covenant Congregational Church in Easton.

She was an amazing cook who loved to prepare meals for friends and family. She enjoyed music and hosting Sunday coffee after Church, which was attended by dozens of family members and friends. She was known by her grandchildren as the greatest woman to ever walk on this earth.

Wife of the late Richard Bousquet. Beloved mother of Geraldine E. and her husband Raymond A. Wallace, Karen E. Anderson, Judith E. Leonard and Joyce E. and her husband Frank T. Ribelin, all of Easton. Loving Nana of David J. Wallace, Shelley E. Howland, Ingrid A. Gay, William H. Anderson, Emily C. Ribelin, Gregory C. Ribelin, Luke E. Anderson-Palumbo and the late Douglas J. Wallace and Daniel R. MaDan. Great grandmother of Forest, Johanna, Augustus and Mary Howland, Nora and Maeve Wallace, Cameron and Elise Gay and Ava and John Anderson. Sister of Quinton Lambert Reinhart Carlson of OR and the late Alsor Myrtle Mathilda Hutcheon, Wallace Frederick Renaldo Carlson, Sonya Evelyn Elvira Martin, John Alden Ferdinand Carlson, Elna Alice Winifred Carlson, E. E. Vincent Carlson and Raymond Warren Leonard Carlson.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, April 21 from 4 to 8 pm at the Covenant Congregational Church, 204 Center Street, N. Easton. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 22 at 11 am at the Covenant Congregational Church. Rev. Johnny Agurkis and Rev. Whitney Hall will preside. Interment to follow at S. Easton Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, Foxboro. For additional information please contact 508 543-5471.
